24th Annual Dinner with the Winemaker Series
The Bay View Restaurant at The Inn at the Tides is hosting its 24th-annual “Dinner with the Winemaker” series. Guests will enjoy a four-course dinner served with a different varietal wine to compliment each course. Winemakers from each winery will be on hand to present their wines and answer questions. Circolo’s Neighborhood Appreciation Happy Hour
Circolo is THE spot to be on Wednesdays.
The sexy Potrero Hill restaurant & lounge is introducing a Neighborhood Appreciation Happy Hour every Wednesday evening. Guests can enjoy FREE appetizers from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. And we’re not talking chips and dip, people. Chef Garret Martindale will be serving up plenty of tasty nibbles, such as: Curry Chicken Satay, Crispy Chicken Lollipops, and Orange glazed ribs. You can wash down all the food with $2 beers, $3 well drinks, and $5 wines-by-the-glass. There will also be specialty cocktails between $5 – $7. Plus, there will be a weekly drawing for great prizes like: two-for-one dinners, free cocktails, theater tickets, and more.

Half-Priced Wine At Wexlers

Medallion Steakhouse introduces a new way to enjoy great food and drinks over the weekend.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, Medallion’s bar and patio will offer a late night happy hour from 10-11pm. Guests can enjoy a special menu of dishes such as Grass-fed Sliders with caramelized onions on a brioche bun ($3 each), Prime Rib Spring Rolls with roasted onions, pepper and provolone ($6) and pizza fresh from the wood burning oven ($7). The restaurant’s signature cocktail, the Medallion with Milagro Blanco, Chamomile Citrus Berry Aperitea and  Street Germain Elderflower Liqueur, and wines by the glass are also offered for $5 each.

Zuppa is making quite a splash with this new happy hour. Beginning today, the charming Italian restaurant in SOMA is serving up 50 cent oysters every Monday – Friday (5pm-7pm). Guests can also wash down those slippery treats with $4 beers and glasses of wine. Zuppa’s happy hour menu features plenty of affordable Italian goodness, including: $3 flat bread, $3 marinated olives, and $5 arancini.

John Korty will play host for the evening and both vocal and acoustic artists are encouraged to belt out their best tunes during a 10 minute set. If you are not a self-proclaimed songbird or still suffer from stage fright, come in on Wednesdays for trivia night beginning at 7:30pm. Alioto’s Restaurant introduces new fare and a chance for people watching their budgets (but not their waistlines) to “just add an appetizer and dessert” for only $8.50 extra. Diners can take any entrée and make it into a three-course meal between 4pm until closing, 7-days-a-week. For an additional $8.50, choose between eight appetizers, including house made New England Style Clam Chowder, Local Bay Shrimp Cocktail, Alioto’s Fried Calamari or Fried Bay Shrimp, Baked Stuffed Artichoke with Sicilian breadcrumbs, Organic Green Salad, Baked Clams with Sicilian Breadcrumbs, or Dungeness Crab Mornay. Starting October 30th, Sweet Jo’s at the Jewish Community Center will launch a regular Friday Night Family Night. Families are invited to enjoy dinner at the cafe, and to participate in an evening of fun and games including Twister, Legos, and coloring books. Sweet Jo’s, which recently opened its doors to the public, is a fast-casual cafe with an international food bar. Diners can feast on everything from gourmet sandwiches to sourdough pizzas to custom-made burritos. They also serve a wide selection of mouthwatering desserts and ice cream.
